Peripheral Vascular Disease

On a regular basis in my practice, I encounter peripheral vascular issues of the lower extremity (problems with the circulation).

On a regular basis in my practice, I encounter peripheral vascular issues of the lower extremity (problems with the circulation). I see people with chronic swelling of the legs/ankles and or feet, wounds of the legs and feet, discoloration and ulcerations. I see patients of all ages and with various health challenges, so sometimes the patient can present without pulses in the feet (yes, you can feel your pulses in your feet and ankles:)) It is important to evalute your vascular system to see if there are any problems such as blockages, decreased blood flow or even of there is no blood flow. These tests can be help to get the proper intervention to prevent pain, slow to heal infections, gangrene and loss of feet or legs. Iwork very closely with vascular physicians who can help if there is any problem with your vascular system in your legs.

At Roka Foot and Ankle Centers, our goal is to keep you up on your feet and healthy
